Day5: Vientiane to Luang Prabang
Due to limited accommodations on the way, we had to break down the 130km to Luang Prabang into 50+80 km. The Kiokajan Guesthouse is the last option to stay overnight.

A dirty patch today due to people watering the dusty roads to avoid dust whirled up creating mud.

The roads were ok, with the general condition of potholes and rough gravel in some stretches.

Day1: Vientiane to Luang Prabang
Our planned route had a dead end at a river crossing without bridge, ferry or ford. So we had to turn back to the main road. Conditions were difficult due to many, deep potholes we had to slowly drive around. So we started planning shorter distances.
