We had to cancel the first part of the tour because we had our labby with us and parts of the route were not possible for the dog. Then did the ascent again from another place and are totally thrilled. Highly recommended for experienced hikers with non-slip shoes.

All in all, a successful tour. One exception, however, was that Google Sat Nav took a very poor route from Dahlhausen onwards. It would certainly be more pleasant to stay on the path along the Ruhr until Ruhraue and then through the park in Freisenbruch towards Rhodenseelstrasse. But it was still a lot of fun.
