A part of my old homeland. About 10 km north of Genner lies Knivsbjerg, the highest elevation in North Schleswig and a cultural site for the German minority. A visit is worthwhile. Also near Genner is the small island of Kalvø, a small, charming natural gem. A beautiful circular hike around the island
