The attentive observer will definitely notice that I drove along the road from the Güldene Bridge to the roundabout. There was just too much snow on the trails. It was just about possible to the Schneekopf because the path was basically in the sun. But I haven't climbed the hill at the end on snow either.

We weren't as fast. He came from the clouds above, I came up from the Werra valley. I'll try to express that I'm not mad at the weather. At least I reached one mountain today.

For those who already have spring fever: GLOVES are still part of my standard equipment! LMAA weather at its worst. 45 min pause at the mare house. So I closed my script for today.

Today again not alone on the road. From KSH up to UMPFEN and back via Fischbach I had a local guide. I have already driven to a number of destinations in the Vorderen Rhön with him.

So: I can't recommend the Lange Lauter route via the Liedermacherweg to the Mordfleck am Rennsteig at the moment. Holzmacher, it's like after a nuclear attack. And don't speak German. No lock above so one can choose differently...poor Germany.

What a drought, despite the sunshine I even had to put on gloves. Was then still surprised that shortly after Keulrod the way was white. It wasn't as high as on the Rennsteig.

No, today was the wrong decision. The SOFA as a goal would really have been the healthier option. Hope tomorrow will be better.
