It's gray all over today. The webcam (see photo) from the Pendlinghaus shows the Wilder Kaiser above the clouds - let's go.
Unfortunately, there was nothing left of it up there.
Well, the food was really good, I'd love to go there again.
The way back was uncomfortable, with a cold wind and drops of rain

After the Lagleralm, a few hundred meters of S2 trail, I had to push a bit.
The descent into the Inn Valley was flowing.
I would NOT do the loop the other way around, because the S2 section would then be uphill, and because the clockwise descent is simply much nicer.

I chose the route via the Jochbergalm because it was still new to me.
At the beginning, everything went according to plan; I was happy when the bike path didn't run too close to the road.
From km 23, the actual mountain bike route, up to km 30 on a forest road, then S1/S2, but still without pushing. The

Today, the Trockenbachtal valley is in sunshine. First, a good 720 meters of elevation gain, then a gentle descent, with frequent photo breaks.
From the Schwarzrieshütte, the forest path continues for a long time, barely descending, to the hiking parking area below the Kranzhorn. Then it's paved and downhill

Chiemsee Loop counterclockwise!
From Bernau, not to the lake and miles along the A8, but to the south through the peat bog. I would recommend it to everyone.
All the lakeside paths were very well-paved, unlike in September 2024 (high water).
The route through the Hirschauer Bucht nature reserve was also

My plan was to go to Gorialm and continue towards Kampenwand/Sonnenalm. But it was closed!
I spontaneously rode through the Priental valley. The trails were fairly narrow, some steep and rocky. The scenery was beautiful and hilly. I ended up taking a shortcut due to time constraints.

This beautiful tour begins with a 720 m climb.
Past the Frasdorfer Hut, ever higher to the Laubenstein Gatterl. From there, you can hike to the summit on the left, but I already did that a year ago (September 24th in the snow).
Today, the route goes through the Trockenbachtal valley, across the border

Great loop from Zweilütschinen. Clockwise via Grindelwald, Brandegg, Kleine Scheidegg to the Grindelwaldblick, where we stopped for lunch, then took the Mendelssohn Weg to Wengen and then a steep, winding descent to Lauterbrunnen and back.
Very well signposted, and the panoramas were endless.

Around the Wendelstein!
This time with a bit of a mountain bike portion.
Up the toll road to the Tatzelwurm. Then S0/S1 through the Auerbach Gorge – I didn't want to go back down the passage with the spectacular rocks just to take a few pictures 😉. Beautiful valley with a well-maintained path.
