Today's tour had everything that the Hümmling is known for. Rural idyll, past eight impressive megalithic stone graves from the Stone Age and a Bronze Age burial mound field. Time and again it went along the Nordradde. The mill ruin in Stavern is definitely worth it and should absolutely be a destination for the hike.

The hike started at Clemenswerth Castle 🏰. The hunting lodge is particularly impressive with its landscaped park. Deer 🦌 Heinrich is the guardian of all watercourses. I particularly liked the signposts for pilgrims (wrought iron cross ♣️ on a stone 🪨).
