I woke to the dawn chorus checked the time and swore at the birds. It was only just passed 4 in the morning and getting light. I turned over and had another hour.
However, in that hour the sky had a few more clouds and turned red. I made a coffee and then set about packing up.
Having used most of my water

I planned this ride as a final shake down ride, fully loaded with bike packing gear that I'd be using on the TransAtlanticWay Race 2022. #TAW2022.
Didn't want to go too far but far enough to make it a full day and get some major hills involved. Well it certainly had some hills. I also planned a route

Just a quick ride out to spin the legs after a day sorting the garden out, and wanted to go take a look at Bullhouse Bridge and see what progress had been made on the removal of the pylons that terminate at Woodhead Tunnel. Massive project to remove 7 pylons.
Bit of a strong head wind again going out
