Nice circular walk with a couple of climbs,Starting from the car park opposite the church in Checkendon and looping past the Black horse pub and down through the centre of the valley and up Berins hill with the chance for a pit stop at Blue Tin produce after the climb then back through the woods to Checkendon.

Starting and finishing at the stop for the X40 Reading to Oxford bus (both directions) (coop opposite for any supplies). A circular route Through the various woods to the east of Woodcote,Through the Hardwick estate and back via Hill Bottom with a stop at the Sun public house.
