Kirkcaldy West CC. Railway Station, Raith Lake & Raith Estate
From Kirkcaldy railway station, this 5.9ml route mostly follows established paths.
Careful navigation is required along the south side of Raith Lake, especially during autumn when falling leaves can cover the mostly well walked path. There are a couple of fallen tree trunks to climb over.

Kirkcaldy West CC. Lang Braes, Rabbit Braes, Newliston & Strathallan areas
From Kirkcaldy railway station, this 5.6 mile route follows established paths on pavements and through woods
A section of the route, called Lang Dykes, has a steep drop on the left of the path.
Paths may be muddy in places.

A Dysart Community Council area heritage walkabout

A 4.5 mile walk along Kirkcaldy’s beaches and a promenade when lower than normal tide levels are expected.
This route starts from the free car parking area opposite Volunteers Green….

Kirkcaldy. Kingslaw Gait, West Wemyss & Dysart
This 5 mile route is along established paths. Summer vegetation makes passage more difficult on a couple of short sections.

Kirkcaldy. Raith Lake circumnavigation..
A route along the north side of Raith Lake was reopened in 2024, followed by one along the south side in 2026.
With more people walking the route, it is mostly well defined .
