Da wir die Tour von Aschau nach Prien schon geradelt waren, beschlossen wir mit der Bahn nach Prien und von dort aus zu starten. Rund um den Chimsee und zurück nach Aschau. Schöne Runde mit vielen Einkehrmöglichkeiten.

07/25 Wanderung auf den Ostgipfel der Kampenwand bei Aschau
Heute geht es endlich bei schönem Wetter auf den Ostgipfel. Um einen entspannten Tag auf dem Berg zu verbringen, geht's mit der Bahn zur Bergstation. Von dort weiter in Richtung Steinlingalm. Hier beginnt der schöne und spannende Aufstieg zum Gipfel auf 1664 m. Hier ist absolute Schwindelfreiheit und Trittsichetheit angesagt. Ein kurzes Stück ist mit einem Seil gesichert, der überwiegende Teil muß erklettert werden. Seit 1950 steht auf dem 1664 m hohen Ostgipfel der Kampenwand das mit 12 m höchste Bergkreuz der Bayerischen Alpen. Eine Tour die sich lohnt. Mit tollen Blick auf den Chimsee, Wilden Kaiser, Großglockner, Loofer Steinplatte und Groß Venediger.
