Start was in Erlabrück via Flößerweg to Steinwiesen, Ködeltalsperre, the beautiful Ködelgrund to the inner-German border shortly after Nordhalben. From here we followed the Kollonenweg roller coaster to the black pond 613m above sea level. If you want to test your fitness and driving technique, the Kolonnenweg is ready, but it is not nice to drive, deep indentations in the concrete lane on the green belt 😁. Structurally and in terms of landscape definitely worth seeing. From the black pond we drove above the Rennsteig to the Wegspinne, here left so that we came to the dead rock at the Bleilochtalsperre behind Harra. Unfortunately, the barrier has very little water, so that in this area the hall can still flow lively without being dammed. Past the cellulose plant in Blankenstein, we visited the hiking turning point and the end of the Rennsteig on the Selbitz. We went on to the Blechschmiedenhammer, the Höllental on to Naila. From here on the old railway line until shortly before ⬇️

A special day🤩. Armin finally got the sister bike to mine, of course there was a varied afternoon tour with a location to celebrate To Go.
It started in Altenkunstadt towards Kleinziegenfeldertal where the first trails were waiting for us. We have longed for a long time today to bike up the Köttelgrund to the lookout point in the Wachholdder slope above Köttel. From here it got down to business quickly, fast asphalt to Lahm followed by a rapid descent to beautiful Ützing. From here it was again leisurely on super gravel paths from behind up to the Staffelberg. Shortly before the edge, a good 50m had to be pushed. From the Staffelberg the reported rain came closer and closer ... undeterred, we continued on the Höhenweg and the short stony trail to fourteen saints and to Lichtenfels. Our destination was the Caribbean corner right next to the campsite in Lif. Sandy beach palm trees 🌴 awesome beach stalls just a mega location.

Today I packed up my buddy Armin'e trail machine ☺ and drove to Nürnbergerland to drive the Franconian Dünenweg ..
First of all, it was not to be topped for me. Mega trails, technical, flowing, fast ... everything is there, coupled with this amazing landscape. Some pieces are closed to cyclists ... of course, they have to be pushed 🥴. At the weekend you need to think about driving the way because the track leads through tourist magnets. Whoever needs high average speeds is out of place, pure nature ... Describing the tour in detail would be like a book. Everything just mega cool, pieces of cream churning out. Pure variety 😄😍.
