Started the ride at Cockerham village hall (free parking) then headed north into Glasson via some great views over the estuary. Joined the towpath at the marina and headed south east along the canal passing a handful of locks along the way. Surface was largely grass and quite bumpy throughout. The towpath

After messing up my photos on 'Part 3' I returned to the Lune Aqueduct. There are quite a few places to park on Aldcliffe Road by the side of the canal if you want to start this ride just outside of Lancaster. However, there are some 'dodgy' singletrack lanes to drive through arriving from the south

I parked the car at Cockerham village hall (free parking) then headed briefy south to Cockerham Road where I got onto the canal at the bridge. This is where I ended 'Part 2' of this series. Heading north the towpath isn't as good as the southerly sections, it starts to get particularly lumpy once past

I parked the car (free) outside The Shore Cafe at Hest Bank with some great views over the bay. I then headed up to the canal which is only a couple of mins away (unless you have to stop waiting for a train - it's a very busy line).
