Impressive ride down through the Viamalaschluct, the views taking the edge off the pain from my sore ass, aching shoulder and lower back.

So whilst this was quite a pull upto the pass this was a much more peaceful ride in comparison to the Gotthard pass. Yes, the tiresome boomers and their noisy motorbikes still around but not nearly so many. A very beautiful ride upto the pass. And a welcome rest down to Splügen.

Finally "bagged" the Gotthard. Ok, I took a small shortcut starting at Goschenen, but from Fluelen the traffic and road is so tedious. As it was until the glorious Tremolo emerged I was getting weary of being buzzed by Lambos and Boomers on their noisy motorbikes..

Bit busy on the road up. Actually it's only the last few kms past Engelberg that are worth the duelling with the cars on the main drag up. However, 2 pints of Eichhof make for a spectacular ride down, easily keeping up with the cars.
