It's a shame so many paths always run along the main roads... But there are beautiful gravel alternatives everywhere (okay, the route would be longer then), which are really worth it. I'm always reluctant to ride along busy roads, especially in Bremen's city limits.

It was a beautiful ride. I rode 115 km. I made sure I had the wind at my back most of the way. If the wind had been different, I would have cycled to Wilhelmshaven from the north. A tailwind is certainly useful.
