The route is very well marked and easy to follow it’s fantastic views at the top of Mam Tor and the following peaks. The village offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You don’t have to go far from the car park to find a fantastic pub that offers good food and also a welcoming atmosphere.

Fantastic walk around Maxstoke area with some amazing views of the countryside and Maxstoke castle ( please note that the Castle is only open to the public 1 day a year 10/06/18 ) well worth a visit and walk enjoy people.

Stunning scenery. In picture 15 there seems to be someone sitting in mid air behind you. 😆 I need to do more walks around this region. Thanks for the inspiration.
