Round with the MTB through the autumnal very beautifully colored Markgräflerland with now quite cool temperatures but around noon also with sunny sections. This tour is also ideally suited for gravel bikes and leads from Müllheim via Vögisheim-Feldberg and Schallsingen up to Bürgeln Castle, until then on paved paths. After the parking lot at the castle through the forest on forest paths downhill towards Lippisbacher Hof and then on asphalt through Käsacker to Vogelbach. There on high paths over field and forest paths (with beautiful views on the way) to Marzell. Then started the way back in Marzell and cycled back home on asphalt via Kandern, Riedlingen, Liel and Schliengen.

🎒🥾Panorama tour in great light and bright autumn colors through forests and meadows and villages. Start in Müllheim towards Niederweiler, up into the Niederweiler vineyard - from there you can enjoy a wonderful view of Badenweiler, Niederweiler and to Müllheim as far as the Vosges Mountains📷👓. The tour then leads a piece through the forest over narrow paths to Oberweiler to Schwärzestraße, where the direction change to Badenweiler follows. In Badenweiler, the path leads through the Park of the Senses, which is very interesting and really educational for young and old and can be explored free of charge. From there on towards Niederweiler and through Müllheim towards the starting point. Scheen isch’s gsi bi great Herbschd Wädda😊!

In the morning, when the weather was still a bit cool but sunny, set off towards Staufen. The intermediate destination was the Kohlerhof, which I approached this time through the forest starting near Etzenbach. On beautiful forest paths with nice panoramic views on the way into the Münstertal, it goes steadily upwards. Short rest and refreshment at the Kohlerhof, then further up over the Eduardshöhe and Gerstenhalm and there again down over Horben to the Luisenhöhe. In the forest this time the forest path on the right-hand side was chosen for the descent to the Lorettoberg, although this is quite boring and wide and simply leads down, there are much nicer paths in this forest. Once at the bottom, drove through Freiburg to the Dreisam, there took the Dreisam cycle path westwards to the Mundenhof, the cycle path leads directly through the Mundenhof zoo (has awakened childhood memories). Then rolled back home on forest and bike paths.

Round with the MTB in Markgräflerland and Alsace in rather flat terrain with not much altitude, but a lot along the water. In Alsace, the route leads first through the Hardt Forest and then on beautiful, easily navigable, partly narrow paths along the Canal du Rhône au Rhin and Canal de Huningue to Huningue and from there back over the Rhine back to the Markgräflerland. At Märkt it goes directly to the Rhine and then on the way along the Rhine back to Neuchâtel.
Today also cracked the 100 km for the first time, but made an extra lap over Grißheim and Seefelden😅.

Today again with the bio bike on the house tour with slight variations. From Müllheim over Badenweiler up to the black and there in the forest over the Kohlplatz to the Sattelplatz. There you quickly descend to the Waldhotel Bad Sulzburg, after passing the hotel complex further up towards Sulzburg Castellberg. From the blackness to the Castellberg, the route runs exclusively in the forest on beautiful forest paths with a few meters of altitude. From the Castellberg hut through the vineyards via Sulzburg, Laufen and Buggingen, cycle back home😊.

As a committed organic biker up to now and in the future, I did the first big round with an eMTB today (my wife lent me her Haibike😘) and I actually have to say: It really has something 😀 and is a lot of fun. Support where you want it and a great feeling with the bike on all routes.
First I started in the oak forest and then I continued up and down through forest and meadow, on forest paths, beautiful trails and on the road near Sehringen, Badenweiler and Buggingen. In the meantime, the display of the remaining distance made me a bit nervous, which fell sharply on the larger inclines even though I had only driven a few kilometers, but the range went up again when it became flatter. In the end, only one bar of the battery charge was actually used up😊.

MTB round from Müllheim on asphalt up to Sirnitz, there turned into the forest and continued on easy-to-drive forest paths on the Kälbelescheuerweg to the intersection below the Kälbelescheuer. From then on, continue over a few trails and wider forest paths to the Gabler-Eck hut. From there I drove on a beautiful narrow trail and other "natural" paths that were still unknown to me in the direction of Münstertal. From the forest it is a rapid descent to Süßenbrunn, then a section of the valley path and then back via Untermünstertal, Grunern and Heitersheim.

MTB round from Müllheim on asphalt up to the Kreuzweg, from there into the forest and around the Sirnitz to the Kälbelescheuer, nothing was going on there. Next on trails and forest paths to the Gabler-Eck and there decided to take the trail to the Enggründlekopf and branching off from there over the Katzenstuhl to Grunern. This trail can be ridden fairly smoothly, is very narrow in places and sloping slightly to the side.
