Walk in the lesser known area in the shadows of the roaches. Following the river churnett, it's a delight of hidden valleys, streams and great views. Good footwear needed as the top is moorlands with Heather and peat bog but clearly signed. The finish is a very steep climb out of the valley back up to the moorlands but worth the effort, certainly not an easy walk and good fitness required. Well worth exploring this quieter part of the area.

Lovely walk, steep start but worth the efforts and quite wet underfoot for 2nd half but good footwear makes it no problem.

Great walk with amazing views and a good variety of terrain. walking boots recommended as some of the ground can be uneven and wet. The car park is very small so if the overflow carparks are shut best be early. Recommended.

Nice area to walk Dave. But we always do that one in Autumn time. It's a local one for us mate. Trees in Autumn are magic.👍
