Nice ride, apart from a couple of difficult hills....one real nasty 😱 apart from that, all ok. Llechryd bridge closed from flood damage, but was ok to go across on the bike. Had a lovely chat with a fellow cyclist when I was obviously looking a bit lost 😆😁🙂

Had the company of my Ironman daughter for this one. Started at Carew Castle, along to Pembroke Dock and down into Pembroke. Had to divert due to part of the route being closed around the castle pond. Rode along the other side of pond which meant we missed out the main high street...so that was good. Back onto route at east side of Pembroke and took back road to Lamphey and on to Hodgeston and Manorbier. Up onto the Ridgeway and came across the next road closure, so carried on and took the next road back to Milton and back to Carew Castle. Quite enjoyed this one....not too hard.

Not much to say about this one really. It was ok...hills still not my friend and never will be...well, only if I'm going down them! 😁 Pinched photos from my friend who was on a wretched E bike 🤣...only joking they're great...just disheartening to ride out with one....I need one😁. Having said that...look at the calories I burnt! 💪🚴♀️

Nice ride to reservoir....but don't follow my route around reservoir on a road bike! The path i took was stoney and the stones got bigger and bigger. I walked and mostly carried my bike for a good half an hour or more. Down through woods at far end of reservoir was the worst. Anyhow, I eventually made it back out onto a road. Then had lovely cycle to Talybont on Usk where I joined the canal path back to Pencelli campsite.

Nice ride by road to Llangynidr, then hopped onto the canal path for a slower but beautiful ride back to camp...but argh...I got lost 😆...phone went flat, didn't know where to get off canal path, so just kept going! So I had passed Pencelli without knowing and then decided to ask a chap on a bike for directions. So at the next road crossing I came off canal path and cycled to road back to Pencelli. More miles, more smiles 🙂
