Lovely sunny ride....but windy for first half! A few nasty little hills which I managed to slog my way up 🥵..but apart from that, a good ride with some lovely views and great company.

Just a short one , but heck it felt like hard work! The hill from Llanmill up to the crem felt awful....I really thought about stopping. Felt I was lacking energy probably due to my downfall of not drinking enough today....and I don't mean alcohol 🤣🤪 Not sure how I managed 2 PR's...thought I took it steady, however, I was racing the advancing darkness!

A different starting point than normal as had to go retrieve my friends ebike from her motorhome which was in for repairs. So some nice little lanes to start with as we headed down to the B4300. Along to Llanarthne and onto the Tywi Valley Path. The sun seemed to be only shining on Pembrokeshire today as Carmarthenshire was just grey clouded skies. Stopped to admire the expertly laid hedge as we started our return at Ffairfach. A pleasant ride and nice to have dry weather.

Meh...garmin watch went flat during ride so complete route not logged 🙄 Some headwind, lots of mud in places and a sprinkling of hedgecuttings, but all in all, a good ride. The weather was kind and even had a little sunshine. Spring flowers blooming and even some tree blossom too. Some roads I've not ridden before and a few little hills chucked in, but felt quite good....must be getting better 🙂 Just under 36 miles today.
