A classic "Hageland" ride. Hollowway climbs, vineyards, open fields and forests. Passing some famous landmarks like the world peace flame and the Vlooybergtoren. The perfect route for a summer evening spin or a little shakeout ride.

In autumn the intensity goes down a bit. But the ardennes are at their best. So we take things down a notch. No really steep climbs in this route (there are 2 very short steep bits, but nothing like redoute or Mur).
So find a comfy pace and just enjoy the ever changing landscape!

Ride from the City of Leuven to the geographical centre of Belgium. The route is doable with a roadbike (preferably in dry conditions) , but there are some gravel segments included. Another loop towards cycling Paradis Limburg. We will visit 2 famous landmarks again, the floating chapel and the "reading between the lines" church.
There are a few gravel sections which are perfectly doable on a roadbike in dry conditions. When wet I would advise to go around them (very easy to navigate by them).

You will cycle through water, over land and In the air! The village of Leopoldsburg provides some perfect feedstops just over halfway.

A gravel/road loop starting from Diest. The loop is roadbikeproof in dry conditions and will take you over some famous gravel secteurs from the "Dwars door het Hageland" race.

Ride the by now famous Flandrien loop of the World championships in Leuven. You will climb the Smeysberg, Moskestraat en Bekestraat!
To spice things up I added some gravel sectors. All doable on a road bike (like we did) but if you are not sure, a gravelbike wont be out of place.

Another fine gravelroute starting from Diest. This time we head north to discover new terrain. Again you will ride everything from smooth gravel to technical singletrack. You get to climb the iconic terril in Beringen and witness the rich mining history.
