Too muddy on the footpaths so we walked by road to Bude, looked at the shops and wandered back. Nice views from the beach, albeit cloudy and windy.

Nice walk to Bude along the coastal path, then along the Canal turning back at Whalesborough. Due to recent rains the paths were muddy but the roads were fine and the scenery stunning. Lots of ducks, geese, swans and pigeons along the way.

Easy 1.5 km walk uphill by road and downhill by steps. Watch for traffic on the road, the jungle trek back is peaceful but take care not to slip or stumble on the steps.

Short walk from town as the traffic was jammed in Brinchang. Easy walk, not scenic due to car workshops on the way.

Short walk from my hotel up a gentle slope. Lots of strawberries in an extensive farm with related food and drinks in the cafe. Free entry. You can pick your own by paying for a box, up to 1 kg, or buy in the shop. I got 300g for RM10. Toilets on site.

Exploring Brinchang- nice shopping mall in the centre with all kinds of food. The main roads are too busy for safe walking. The jungle trail to Coral Hill is interesting though slippery due to recent rains so wear good shoes. My sandals were not suitable so I turned back.

Hot morning walk but found some shady routes especially to the lily pond and along the stream. Lots of plants and trees to look at, also monkeys. Toilets on site and several jungle trails coming off the main route for the adventurous.
