Hengqin loop from Ocean Gardens cycling path
Once you get to Hengqin, after passing the boarder control, it’s flat nicely paved roads with almost no cars and 3 lanes.
You need to be respectful and careful but you do feel pretty safe.

After seeing AC post yesterday decided to visit this side of the river.
Rice fields with nice gravel roads. Like Mondego fields close to Coimbra but not so bike friendly. Crazy truck drivers 😤

Palmela 🐕💥
Was planning a big spin around Arrábida, but the rain would not ease, so decided to visit Palmela Castle. Stoped on the way back to Lisbon for a little spin. Dog jumped in front of the bike ended up on the floor with some scratches and torn bibs 🙄

Managed to find a beautiful climb with almost no traffic that goes to Mosteiro dos Capuchos.
