SOS! Panik!!! A local pointed out the way down to Thale town should the Kabinenbahn (cable car) is closed for whatever reason (eg. high winds!). The trail is kinda HIDDEN AND TO THE LEFT of a gate which appears to be locked, BUT WALK UP TO THE GATE AND LOOK…

Eibsee Hike after Zugspitze!
Start-End Loop at the Bus 9840 Bushaltestelle to Garmisch-Partenkirchen Bhf to take the “RB 6” train back to München Hbf (*Deutschland-Ticket accepted!*). Anticlockwise Eibsee hike is apparently more scenic. Downhill towards the end. No hurry, hike at your pace. Easy for everyone.

Rožnik, LJUBLJANA Hike
15 mins walk from the city centre and you’ll be ready to be immersed in nature. Too many routes, forge your own. Wander along any path, you’ll meet another hiker with their dog soon enough. Go slow, observe the flora and fauna. Be there at 8, be there any time.
