About Charly

E-Bikern! :-)

On the way home I had to stop and enjoy a beer with Mötzi until the storm was over :-)

After I lost air in the front "tubeless" tire right after the first tour in Croatia - a hole in the rim tape, no idea how this can happen - yesterday I pulled in a new rim tape and of course poured sealing milk into it and today was the test. Since the tire held up so well, I had to take three beer breaks without wanting to :-). I can't help it that the inns are on my route :-)

Before I set off today, I had to remove a number of cobwebs from the bike. They are from the days before from the narrow paths, as these Gfrasta😁 build their network between the trees at face height. Today I had several such paths, so that the spiders dropped their threads from several places on the helmet and dangled around in front of my eyes 😄.
My goal today was poop. The bay is overgrown with reeds and there is also a military training area nearby.

Tested with Sohnemann Beachbar in Duga Uvala. Good beer and great views. On the way back we were followed by three giant dogs and one kilometer from the finish, my son's bike hissed, so flat tires😥. But the hose was quickly exchanged and we went on. Fortunately, the dogs gave up beforehand, otherwise they would have eaten us 😁

In Krk mountain bike trails were paved with stones, in Krnica unfortunately the same, the only difference, in Krk the stones were reddish, in Krnica they are gray :-)
Choosing mountain bike trails in these areas with Komoot is not recommended at all. Most of the time there are only stones, stones and stones. A miracle that the tires have held out. There are also several stretches that are completely overgrown and therefore impassable. The routes are shitty, but the view is a dream. On the way back from Rebici I chose the road and a bike tour through the small towns is more interesting than cucumbering around on stones. I even discovered a small piece of the Vienna Woods - see photo :-)
