Nearly 3000ft of Elevation showcases some of Devon's spectacular hill climbs! Fabulous views and passing through some lovely towns and villages along the route. Park in the Free Car Park (suggested £3 donation for it's upkeep) in North Bovey and set out from there...

Did this ride in torrential rain! On a nice day the scenery would be fabulous for most of the route. Stopped at the play park in Coombe village for a packed lunch (Very peaceful) Couple of tweaks to originally planned route - Section at Laddock takes you along a public footpath which was very overgrown

Started from home but you could start from anywhere on the route that you can safely park. This part of the trail can get particularly muddy underfoot following wet weather so appropriate footwear recommended.

Interesting moorland section at the base of Roughtor - emerging in the middle of Fernacre stone circle before you rejoin the track. Great on a dry day - can image it would be trickier in the wet!
