What a damn awesome hike my wife planned 🤗
She tried to create a beautiful hike that has nothing to do with "climbing" as this is not suitable for our daughter due to her fear of heights. And that's not entirely easy in Saxon Switzerland if you want to see something 🤪
But this worked out absolutely perfectly

Cozy excursion to the Bio Refugium Schmilka 👍
On the hike, very unexpectedly with the Kipphorn view, I found one of the most beautiful places I have seen so far in Saxon Switzerland 🤩
On the other hand, I was disappointed by the large Winterberg. So either we missed something or there is really nothing

Today we went to the Königstein Fortress 🏰
A truly breathtakingly large castle that is definitely impressive in many ways 👌
We also took the opportunity to join a guided tour, which was really great thanks to the good & funny guide 😃

After the unfortunately much too short hike at the Bastei Bridge, I went out again with my bike 😊
I didn't really have a fixed destination in mind, just down into the Kirnitzsch Valley to escape the scorching heat 🥵
After the short downhill trail, I then rode easily along the road to Lichtenhain to enjoy
