Lonely summit crossing of Tuxeck / Treffauer
Wonderful "typical Wilde Kaiser tour", this time in the far west (Scheffau). Parking is at the Jägerwirt.
It is the often described lonely mountain tour, on which I only met a few like-minded mountain friends on my descent.

A leisurely hike in the Wilder Kaiser to the front and rear Karlspitze peaks in midsummer conditions. We started from the Wochenbrunner Alm towards the Gaudeamushütte, and from there hiked towards the Ellmauertor, which was still quite easy.
From here (keeping left/before the Ellmauertor), the tour begins
