Visit to the Hintertux glacier, with beautiful views along the way from the cable car.
After our visit to the top of the glacier, we descended with the cable car back to the lower intermediate station to eat at the Fernerhaus.

It was still raining ☂️ when the two of us took the Spieljoch cable car up. But after a while up there, it cleared up completely and the sun 🌞 and people appeared.
We just made it back to our hotel in time for a downpour.

We went up with the Penkenbahn from Mayrhofen. In the afternoon, we were expected at KaserMandl am Penken. After a large bowl of spaghetti and an extra large apple strudel with cream😋 and musical entertainment, there wasn't much time left for a long hike. (And it was quite warm for a long hike anyway
