A wonderful morning hike! There's good parking near the monastery, an easy trail with a balanced workout, and excellent views of Athens! The start and finish are near the monastery, I forgot to turn on the GPS when I went up the mountain.

The start and finish is point "B." There's a good parking lot in the village. Unfortunately, the data was lost at the beginning of the hike. The actual distance, including the distance that was not recorded, is about 17 km.

The level is intermediate. If you're a beginner, it's best to start from Zakros. Good shoes and hiking poles are highly recommended. There's a hole in the fence leading from the trail to the monastery.
