The Trifels Adventure Trail connects Annweiler's town center with Trifels Castle.

You can start the Trifels Adventure Trail at the tourist information office at Messplatz in Annweiler or at Trifels Castle. Along the 3.6 km long trail, you'll find interesting information about the region's medieval history

An adventure trail for families, designed to introduce children to the local flora and fauna, the splendor of the red sandstone cliffs, and the tasks of hunting and beekeeping.



This initially wide, unmarked walking trail begins at the "Katzenbusch" hiking car park on the L482 between Rodalben and Donsieders

The short Steinenschlossweg circular trail leads through dense forests, past imposing cliffs, and to a romantic castle ruin.



The hiking trail is a good 6 kilometers long and offers magnificent views of the surrounding southwest Palatinate countryside.
