Today we explored completely new paths for us in the Altenburger Land and Landkreis Leipzig.... We ate and drank well at the Stausee Pahna (and on a Monday! 😉) Beautiful area and crystal clear water, also nice for camping and for all bikepacking friends..😁

The first 4.5 km of the tour were the ride with the Thuringian mountain railway....after that a nice hike with a final stop at the restaurant at the Fröbelturm. Wonderful area... the photos speak for themselves. However, the bark beetle has also done a great job here😏. But it will grow back again😉

Wanderung zu Fröbelturm und Talsperre Leibis-Lichte – Naturpark Thüringer Wald
Nach der Fahrt mit den Thüringer Bergbahnen von Obstfelderschmiede nach Cursdorf ging es auf eine Wanderung durch die schöne Natur. Zwischendurch gab es Kuriositäten wie die steilste Straße Deutschlands und schöne Aussichten auf die Trinkwassertalsperre Leibis.

Eine gemütliche Tour mit allerlei Leckerreien🍾🍺in entspannter Runde zur Waldpension Giegengrün....Dort kann man ordendlich einkehren in einer urigen Gaststätte mit sehr leckeren Speisen,freundlicher Bedienung und wirklich fairen Preisen....oder auch ein Kupferbier trinken aus der Brauerei Stützengrün...

I was inspired to do this tour by an FB post. I simply took over the tour - and just like the creator of the tour, I missed the turn-off at km 1 (keep left here at the larch, then stay on the path). So we had to roughly aim in the direction through the forest on a path and got back on the path shortly
