Guys, guys! Suns out!
My local lanes and paths but with a couple of new bits out towards wylam. Long hot climb back up from the river though! One slow puncture but a lovely sunny meadow to sit in and swap it out, saw a deer and I'm pretty sure a red squirrel as a bonus!

Beautiful Walla crag
A lovely walk up and over Walla crag. Defo do it this way round as the views are wonderful. Pasties in keswick before wandering back along the lake

Sale fell stomp
A windy trip up Sale fell - a small hill, but a strep climb and a great view. Skiddaw looking all moody on the other side of the lake.

A cold and lovely moor!
Excellent stomp through the snow up on blanchland moor. This was a fun route and pretty much cycleable. The road up would be a particularly nice path up onto the top by bike.

Railway path for miles! loop from Lanchester
Last ride of the year! A good winter route, all tarmac or packed railway path. The hills at the start are a bit killer and I was into the wind for the way back up the valley. This takes me to 721 miles this year!

It's not terribly nice out there!
Even when not actually raining and thermals up! Doesn't help that I've not been out for a month. Fitness seems to leave much faster than it builds!

Figure of 8 stopped by footpaths closed!
Quick new route round familiar paths. The main path through the havannah reserve is very closed. So had to re route and double back.
