Ponteland - heddon on the wall loop
I like this run up in the hills behind pont. Mostly gravel on the way out then a chunk of Rd on the way back - might be fun the other way around as well.

First ride since becoming a dad!
I now have a tiny person to look after so this was both short and needed!
I suspect I'll be getting out less frequently for a bit, but so nice to see the wild flowers, nature etc!

Good to get out and this is a lovely loop but just not feeling it for some reason.

The best gravel loop in the north?
Back to do this loop solo, it's just so nice.
Beautiful views, great track, always more up hill than you think.
Prefer this way round as well - downhill(ish) on the way back.

Beautiful Walla crag
A lovely walk up and over Walla crag. Defo do it this way round as the views are wonderful. Pasties in keswick before wandering back along the lake

nice one @Duncan I think I know the grim road bits but you can avoid them in the main and get more good trails in. Killingworth to Backworth and Seghill back to Backworth being the main ones. You can avoid the New Hartley to Double Row road as well but it adds a little more mileage, but good tracks
