Short little detour at beginning of ride. Easy out, helped out a fellow cyclist with puncture then rode to Cafe. Came out of cafe and rear wheel puncture, patch had peeled. New tube in and upped the pace on way back to make up time. Got a bit confused in housing estate Southport but worked it out.

Out to Graveyard lane, back along Rainford bypass, up past Fairfield hospital, down past Red Cat pub to Kingsmoss, then Tower Hil to Longshaw and back down Windy Arbour. Dreaded puncture at Delph Tavern caused slight delay.
