Got a bit confused which way to go home after Waddington, got there in the end. Non stop no food and about 1 and half 750ml bottles of water.

Tatton Grappenhall
Good day out with my mate Ray, red hot again with E wind. Got a a bit sketchy on Knutsford Road turning but soon got back on track. Came back via Vulcan Village and Garswood.

Liverpool Docks via Aintree
Red hot sunny day, steady ride, quite a strong E wind made it hard work on way back. Tiderace Navy ship in port. Back through Rimrose Park. Scouted a few pubs in city.

Trough of Bowland through Garstang.
Red hot sunny day with slight NW wind. Non stop no food but drank 2 bottles. of water. Some beautiful views today and fairly quiet on roads around Trough.

Continuation Wemyss to Woodhill station pt2
Restarted recording route into Glasgow. Lovely service road up here. Train from Woodhill to Glasgow then Glasgow train home, finally stopped raining today.. Blue sky at home.

Isle of Bute to Wemyss pt1.
Out of digs & straight up Serpentine hill (by choice), very misty so no real view unfortunately. Ferry from Rothesay to Wemyss. (Note: Average speed of ferry 12mph). Down to Largs then a nice ride through the Gryfe reservoirs and Loch Thom.

Ardfern to Rothesey Isle of Bute
Rain again, stopped for a butty from Brambles cafe, not cheap but really good. Little short hop on ferry to get to Bute, then a nice ride down seafront to digs.

Campbeltown to Ardfern
Poured down all day, cafe at Tarbert, doubled back for my freind Darren at 25 miles, tailwind most of way. Some stunning scenery coming in to Ardfern and coast riding was good, bear in mind it was Sunday so traffic ok .

Tarbert to Campbeltown
Pouring down, stiff headwind made it even harder on the hills, sadly heavy mist and rain spoiled views across to Arran but still worth riding, quieter road than A83 as it's a B road with lots of passing places but a lot hillier.

Dunoon to Tarbert
Train from Glasgow Central to Gourock then ferry to Dunoon to start ride. Great scenery, tough going in hills but worth it. Great night in Corner House pub with live music, and the Islay Frigate Hotel was decent with Traditional live music.
