Santo Antão Trails Cabo Verde

A Rede de Percursos Pedestres de Santo Antão é uma iniciativa promovida pelo Instituto do Turismo de Cabo Verde, Instituto Público responsável pela regulação e fiscalização, implementação da política de Desenvolvimento do setor e promoção de Cabo Verde como destino turístico. Os 43 percursos que constam desta plataforma, correspondem aos percursos pedestres recomendados em Cabo Verde, mais precisamente na ilha de Santo Antão, conforme Decreto-Lei nº 28/2023 de 20 de outubro de 2023.

Os Percursos Pedestres da ilha de Santo Antão possuem características técnicas, normas de segurança e reabilitação, atividades interditas, modelos de placas sinalizadoras, bem como elementos técnicos, incluindo os que devem constar dos painéis informativos, definidos na Portaria Conjunta nº 30/2024 de 22 de junho de 2024. Quanto à classificação do grau de dificuldade, foi utilizado o método MIDE (mide.montanasegura.com/) – Método de Informação de Excursão – cujo objetivo é unificar as apreciações sobre a dificuldade das excursões para permitir a cada praticante uma melhor escolha.
