Today we went to the Summer Palace of the Habsburgs. Which is just ridiculously grandiose. We woke up to rain! But it didn’t keep us from heading out to explore Vienna. This will be our longest stop over of the trip, 2 whole days! This day...oh this day. Turns out the bike trail is closed sue to a landslide. The detour took us up and over an entire flipping mountain. The boys were good sports but i cried a lot on that road. Im not proud of it, but it got the better of me. My legs are jello and our mileage was fairly short. I pushed

Many many Schlosses! But one that was so worth the climb and the entrance fee was the Schloss Greinburg. We almost didnt go in as it had an entrance fee and looked fairky unassuming but heck we are glad we did. It had the most beautiful courtyard with hanging vines, dragon water spouts and arches. There

We finally had a day without rain! What an incredible ride today. We kept joking that it was a good thing we brought our own bread for bread crumbs because we were 100% in Hans Christian Anderson territory. Not literally, that is more south, but it felt like it.
