Well, the final ride day of the trip has come. Over this trip we have ridden 565.5 miles from Munich to Budapest.

Today we went to the Summer Palace of the Habsburgs. Which is just ridiculously grandiose. We woke up to rain! But it didn’t keep us from heading out to explore Vienna. This will be our longest stop over of the trip, 2 whole days! The previous day we had stopped for lunch at an area frequented by mosquitos, and I got bit 3 times on my left ankle plus a bunch elsewhere. By the end of our ride

We crushed this day! We started out with a bit of a conundrum. Our winery stay only took cash for our room and we were running low. Because it was a weeee tiny town there was no atm and the closest one was a 20 minute bike ride away, on too of what was already a long ride to get to Vienna. However, with

We finally had a day without rain! What an incredible ride today. We kept joking that it was a good thing we brought our own bread for bread crumbs because we were 100% in Hans Christian Anderson territory. Not literally, that is more south, but it felt like it.
