Did this route in reverse to take advantage of the swimming spot on the way back. It's easy to miss the turning to Sentiero 13 as you have to go over a crash barrier to reach it. After that the path is well marked.

Nice gentle walk before a hearty lunch at the Rifugio. The lake is fenced off and there's no access to the water, so it's not one fir anyone who fancies some wild swimming.

Sadly the Gola di Gouta rifugio is now closed and you can't even top up your drinking water there.
