I was a bit unsure if I, who am starting my 71st year in September, could manage this tour. What can I say, it worked out. Strenuous, but the magnificent views compensated me for the scrambling. A truly fantastic hike, highly recommended!

The area seems to be a recreational area for the people of Bonn. Today, on a Friday, it was very busy here. Since the paths are almost completely asphalted, racing cyclists often whiz past you at 50 km/h. I prefer it a bit quieter.

Start/Finish: Reiterhof Birkhof with Ristorante Rossi, via Weilerswist (old football pitch and Schwister tower) past Berggeistsee and Lucretiasee and shortly before the finish the Birkhof Chapel.
