The safari in Yala NP was supposed to be a highlight of the Sri Lanka tour.
Unfortunately, we expected too much. We saw more wild animals on the road than in the NP. Furthermore, there are an incredible number of jeeps in the park, which all rush to the same spot as soon as they see animals.
