„Die Geschichte des Priwalls reicht bis ins Mittelalter zurück. Ursprünglich war die Halbinsel ein wichtiger Handelsplatz und eine strategische Verteidigungsposition. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte wechselte sie mehrfach den Besitzer, was zu einer vielschichtigen kulturellen Entwicklung führte. Der Name “Priwall” stammt aus dem Slawischen und bedeutet “Hauptwelle”. Dies ist ein Hinweis auf die Lage der Halbinsel zwischen Ostsee und Lübecker Bucht. Die Nähe zum Wasser war entscheidend für die Entwicklung des Priwalls als Handelsplatz. Im Mittelalter war der Priwall ein wichtiger Handelsplatz. Er diente als Umschlagplatz für Waren aus dem In- und Ausland.
