Day 2 – heading back. No big negatives on this tour.
The road all along the Seine, through the north of Sartrouville and Bezons and all the way to Saint Denis has mostly well protected bike paths. Once you get close or into Paris it's smooth sailing.

First day starting from Paris. The weather didn't work in our favor so we had to bike through 3 hours of rain. With the Olympics there were some areas cordoned off, but the advantage was that there were few cars on the road.
The path follows a steep bike unfriendly road in Bezons which I would avoid if

Day 3. Very few cars on the roads we took. We had them almost to ourselves Get ready for a lot of ups and downs, some great lake views and lots of nature. Avallon is a beautiful city atop a hill, so be ready for that final push.
