Hiking shoes preferred, no flipflops. The road down from the village to the beach is very badly signposted by the red and white GR colours. You can easily get lost and I was happy to have the tour with komoot directions. The road up to the village from the beach is easy to follow and much more frequented.

Not to be done on flipflops. The left side of the tour is steep at the end and slippery and hiking shoes are preferred. After rain, you can opt to go back and forth only using the right side of the lake. Avoid the crowd, walk in the shady and cool woods.
