Der Start des Wichtelwaldes ist direkt am Skaterpark, dort kann auch geparkt werden. Der Weg ist sehr gut markiert und die Wichtelhäuschen absolut liebevoll gestaltet - für Groß und Klein toll anzusehen! Am Ende des Weges gibt es ein Gästebuch und eine Spendenkasse. Wir sind den Weg entgegengesetzt gelaufen, er ist ungefähr 850 m lang. Danach sind wir noch ein bisschen durch Hörup gegangen.
