A cold (but lovely as ever) ride from Setúbal to the Moinho da Maré and back. With a windchill of around 7* we played Vasco o Perdido, attempting to discover an eastern fully paved route. As you can see by the strange mini-loops, though, our new route was circular. Nonetheless, it was interesting new ground and did get us where we intended to go. Our destination wasn’t actually the Moinho, but rather a café in Faralhão. The outside table for four in full, warm sunshine made it the obvious choice for everyone. After warming up, we headed home on the normal route and made it back before noon. It was a morning well spent with plenty of time for catching up with folks who’ve been out of town and country during the holidays. (Martin, Junior, Matt, Jeff)
