True North Adventures - Sheffield

Welcome to True North Adventures in Deepcar - Sheffield

We are a rider owned independent adventure company and bike shop on the outskirts of Sheffield just on the boarder of the Peak District, and right on the doorstep of Wharncliife & Grenoside. Owned by former elite cross country and road racer and mountain biker for over 30 years.

Established in 2016, True North was early into the e-bike scene and built on their passion for riding and set up the first ebike guiding and coaching company in the Peak District.

Having ridden and raced all over the world we are ready for our next challenge! Passing on our experience and knowledge to riders of all abilities.

Hire one of our premium electric mountain bikes from Mondraker, ranging from Kids 26" and full suspension ebikes with 625w/h and 750w/h batteries from this specialist Spanish brand.

Hire the bikes yourself and follow one of the planned routes on Komoot or take advantage of one of True North's professional guides or coaches taking out the stress of navigation or learn some valuable skills from one of their professional guides and instructors.

Take a look at some of our favourite routes for you to undertake on your own. But please review the route and technical notes along with the routes difficulty and fitness level to ensure you are confident and have the relevant fitness to ensure you enjoy the day.

Enjoy the trails, be respectful of the environment along with other users, remember its for everyone. Be kind and say Hi....

This route is graded as intermediate to advanced with regards to a few bridleways that are fairly technical for gravel bikes, in that there are some rockier sections but they can easily be walked as they are short sections.

Some great views and places to stop and have a snack.
