We start at the parking lot of the Ehrwalder Alm Bahn. For the ascent, we take the Hohen Gang. First through forest, then steeply upwards via a gravel path. After a viewpoint, we enter the Hohen Gang, where sure-footedness and a head for heights are required. It goes steeply uphill, and you can hold

On the last day, we climb back up from the Gotzenalm, heading on a wide gravel path towards Königsbachalm. Shortly before, a beautiful trail branches off towards Kessel. The path goes downhill in long, gentle switchbacks until you reach the Königssee. Here, two of us took a cool dip and then we took

We start at the Schneibsteinhaus and walk over a mountain ridge to the Königsberg. There is no summit cross here, but the path is very beautiful. We descend to the service road and follow it over several hairpin bends. Here we split up: two continue via the Königsbachalm, two go via the Priesbergalm

We are starting our three-day girls' tour at the Königssee. We set off from the Hinterbrand car park (€6/day) towards the middle station. Shortly before, however, we turn off the access road and head up a path to the left, with tight switchbacks and quite steep. At the Mitterkaseralm, we rejoin the access

Started at 5 p.m. Nice, not so crowded anymore and reasonably pleasant temperatures. It was even really cold at the Herzogstandhaus due to the wind. It was definitely a nice evening tour

Another evening walk in Wernigerode: Ascent to the castle (unfortunately, there's construction work right in front of the door at the moment), interior rooms and courtyard unfortunately only viewable with admission. Afterwards, dinner in the old town.

Last hike of our Harz holiday: from Blankenburg to the Großvaterfelsen and over the Teufelsmauer ridge trail to the Hamburger Wappen. It was another really great trail, very varied with lots of ups and downs. Beautiful views of the surrounding area. We then took the slope trail back.
The tour was a great

Today hike to the Brocken from Torfhaus via the Goetheweg. Pleasant trail without particular inclines. At the beginning through the Torfhausmoor on planks and later a wide track. Partly directly along the tracks of the Brockenbahn. The forest was fantastic, lots of green, trees and bushes. But also many

First to the Regenstein castle ruins. The medieval market was still here today, a really great atmosphere. And then we went to the sandstone caves, which were also really beautiful in the evening light.

We started in Eben near Maurach on the Achensee. Upwards towards the Erfurter Hütte, but then turned right and took the less-traveled Hubersteig up to the Ebner Joch. The trail is varied and narrow, but very easy to walk. At the summit, we were all alone, had a snack and enjoyed the 360-degree panorama
