Because of the aftereffects from the first day and our wet clothes, we decided to drive to Weissenfels and have someone pick us up from there. The route there was easy to ride and the scenery was very attractive. Great bike paths!

A well-located campsite in the valley implies a mountain that was nevertheless easy to manage. The weather was not very pleasant but we continued cycling anyway. The elevation profile was very pleasant and mostly flat once we reached Rudolstadt. So it was a relaxed bike ride all the way to Jena!
