After shopping at the large Tuincentrum De Boet in Hoogwoud, we hopped on our bikes and took a nice tour to Hoorn.
As luck would have it, the weather forecast was right for a change today – and so we were able to enjoy our bike tour completely without rain. 🌦️🚲

Small bike tour🚴♂️ from Papenburg via Neulehe and Aschendorfermoor – actually just to test a new saddle.

Our destinations today were the Waterloopbos, the harbor of Blokzijl, Dwarsgracht, Giethoorn, and Belt-Schutsloot.
From Zwartsluis, we first headed to our first destination, the Waterloopbos near Marknesse in the province of Flevoland.

🚴♂️ Today a wonderful bike tour from Zwartsluis via Kampen to Elburg was on the agenda.
As so often in the Netherlands, we were on excellently developed cycle paths and quiet side roads with hardly any cars. This is what makes cycling really fun!

Today, with a bright blue sky, a beautiful little East Frisia tour: From Papenburg, we first went to Rhauderfehn and then continued via the Ostfriesen-Radwanderweg to Ihrhove to the Ulenhus in Grootegast. Afterwards, the route led back to Obenende. An all-round successful tour in the best cycling weather.

After the delicious breakfast at Henja and Bert's in the "Idylle aan Zee", the rain finally stopped – St. Peter apparently took pity on us, and the sun even shone in the afternoon.
