Im November gibt es auch am Wank einsame Wege: schöne Rundtour vom Gschwandtner Bauern zum Roßwank hinauf und in einem Bogen auf stillen Wegen zurück; Bei diesem Abstieg muss man an zwei, drei Stellen trittsicher sein und es besteht Abrutschgefahr; Bei Schnee und Eis ist der Weg nicht zu empfehlen;

Den Klettersteig kann man auf einem normalen Weg umgehen, die Haidachstellwand kann somit auch ohne Seil erreicht werden; oben am Gipfelplateau gibt es Edelweiß! Beim Abstieg nach Westen gibt es zwei Stellen mit Seilversicherung; trittsicher und schwindelfrei sein ist hilfreich bei diesem Abstieg;
