The walk from the village to les Issards was beautiful. The walk from Les Issards to Bardonecchwas less so - mostly between a rocky riverbed and a road full of motorbikes zooming past.

An unexpectedly gorgeous route with an interesting short cut to chesal using old drovers paths. Well marked, maintained and Signposted.

A great walk startingently enough Along the river then getting very steep to Grange Chaffeau. From there you follow the contline al around the back of the village to Grange Vernets.
The walk back down is down a steep gravel road but there are opportunites to head back into the shady paths which you should they're lovely paths!

A fabulous walk with an initial steep ascent outside Bardonecchia. It levels off at the 1600m contour and goes to Melezet, with amazing views down on Bardonecchia and along the valley.

The path from Nemi to Genzano was closed so we had to do a big detour and walk up the main road, which was steep, treeless and hot.

A lovely walk on lower elevations for cloudy days when the peaks are shrouded. There's not much to do in Beaulard - we couldn't find somewhere to buy a cold drink, for example. But the walk is lovely.
