Wonderful hike through the Cocora Valley. From Salento we took a Willy Jeep to the starting point (a little touristic village). From there we climbed up to the House of the Colibris. This is the most amazing spot to observe and take photos of colibris. You also cross several suspense bridges over a little river. Towards the end we arrived to the Cocora Valley where a huge amount of very tall wax palm trees grow. Very unique site!

Easy hike with some inclination. Our destination was a favourite restaurant called 4 Canyes in El Papiols that offers wonderful food.

Wonderful activity . You will need a decent condition. From Garraf station you leave up into the mountains. But don’t forget to visit this tiny and incredibly beautiful seaside village first! Climb up 300 meters in height before being in a high plain. You will need to go down to sea level again and ascend before you reach Sitges. The views are really worth it !

We started at our wonderful hotel Casa Leonardo and felt like walking up a rock that you can see when sitting on the terrace of the hotel. The views up were amazing, we passed by the ruins of a deserted medieval village and tried to find a monolith but only Later found out that it is on a private property. So you can skip the loop that we made. We continued to the village of Pobleta that is still quite romantic and feels medieval before walking back to Senterada to our hotel along the river.

Great hike from the village La Plana de Mont-Ros along an old ore mine and two nearly deserted villages on top of the mountain ridge. Unfortunately we walked back on the road with many serpentines. This was rather boring. There was a hiking path apparently towards Beranui and back to our B&B, but longer and we did not have the time. This was unfortunate. Otherwise it would have been a perfect hike.

Great hike with many wonderful views throughout the whole hike. First part is a bit more intense (400 m in height in 45 minutes) but you can easily reward yourself with excellent food at the Frassen Hut. We continued to Nitzkekopf and followed a mountain crest to the cross on top of the Frassen Summit. Back at the Frassen Hut you can follow a rather relaxing path down to the lift (aprox. 1.5 required ). Don’t forget that the lift closes at 5pm in summer.

We went up with the Palüdbahn from Brand and started hiking at Melkboden towards Untere Brüggeli Alp. This hut is an amazing place. Maria (88) and her husband (92) still serve food and drinks. They are great story tellers and we have heard so many anecdotes and history. It was our 7th time there. It feels like being in Heidi land or in The sound of music! On we continued a more challenging mountain path (Fürgelesteig). You need to be an experienced hiker without fear of heights. The path ends at the Oberzalim Hut another great place to rest. You can sleep there as well in case you want to climb up the mountain face the next day. We walked down all the way to brand with a forest detour. Absolutely enjoyable !

We started in Mason (there is a little parking close to the Mason Chapel) and hiked up the mountain. We needed 2:20h for 900 meters in height and 6.5 km in distance and arrived to the Freiburger Hütte where we had a delicious lunch. Bring sufficient cash! We continued with a walk around the nearby lake (aprox. 45 minutes using partly a path for trained hikers) and had coffee and cake again at the hut before we descended to the parking. The views were amazing. You won’t meet many people on the trail until you arrive at the hut. Absolutely recommend this hike !

We started at the Hochjoch lift - mountain station - and climbed up to the Wormser Hut. A steeper path with amazing views. After a wonderful lunch we took and easier way back to the lift. We passed by some picturesque mountain lakes and crossed a ski tunnel descending towards Hochjochbahn.
